Narrowing agricultural land and high food demand require every harvest season to be successful in order to maintain food security in Indonesia.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local agricultural production capabilities are not capable of meeting national demand. Some of the causes are production costs, selling prices, and extreme weather. As a result, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the largest import activities (around 74%) come from the food sector in the form of finished products for public consumption (2013). This threatens the welfare of Indonesian farmers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the low interest of the younger generation in agricultural businesses is a problem in regenerating human resources, especially farmers.  Businesses in the agricultural sector are also considered unable to provide economic benefits.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deltagro presents as a solution to the problem of agriculture in Indonesia. Not only presenting quality products that are useful to increase the effectiveness of food crop production in Indonesia, Deltagro is here to accompany and educate farmers about the development of agricultural technology.
